Dubai Palm Fronds — Aerial Geometry at Dawn

699.00 د.إ

The Palm Jumeirah’s frond pattern photographed from directly overhead at dawn — the 16 residential fronds and their connecting roads creating a perfect radial geometry against the Arabian Gulf’s turquoise gradient.

Description

The Palm Jumeirah is one of the world’s most instantly recognisable aerial subjects — its engineered radial geometry visible only from altitude, the 16 residential fronds extending from a central trunk into the Arabian Gulf. This dawn photograph was made at an altitude of 300 metres directly above the Palm’s centre, the low eastern sun creating long shadows along the eastern faces of each frond’s buildings while the western faces remain in pre-dawn shadow. The colour gradient of the surrounding sea — shallow turquoise near the fronds deepening to deep navy at the outer breakwater — frames the geometric land form. The Atlantis resort at the crescent tip is visible in the upper frame, and the Dubai Marina skyline appears at the bottom frame edge. Shot at f/5.6 to balance depth of field across the frond geometry against the background skyline.
