Description
The tea gardens of Munnar in the Western Ghats of Kerala are cultivated at elevations between 1,500m and 2,600m above sea level, the tea bushes planted in contour rows that follow the curvature of the hillsides with agricultural precision. This aerial photograph, made from a drone at 100m above the surrounding terrain level, captures the visual rhythm of the contour row planting — the closely spaced dark green rows curving in parallel across the undulating hill surface, creating a flowing topographic map drawn in vegetation. The photograph has been used extensively in Indian premium tea brand communications, tourism promotion, and agricultural landscape fine art contexts.
